Dr. Francis Okpaleke is a Senior Research and Policy Analyst at Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC). Over the past decade, he has amassed a wealth of international experience, traversing the landscapes of Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
As a Political Scientist, Francis has made substantial contributions across various domains, including academia, the not-for-profit sector, and public service. He has authored several research reports, covering a wide range of subjects such as energy transitions, climate policy, international politics and security, digital technologies, and sustainability.
Francis holds a PhD in Politics and Public Policy from the University of Waikato, New Zealand, an MSc in Political Science from the University of Salford, United Kingdom, and a BSc with Distinction in Political Science from the University of Nigeria.
At ICTC, Francis seeks to contribute to research initiatives that focus on the convergence of the digital economy and the green economy and to uncover insights that can drive sustainable and environmentally conscious practices within the digital landscape.
